Half Bear by Bordalo II

 Esta é uma obra original de Bordalo II, da série Big Trash Animals. Intitulada Half Bear, é composta por dois ursos, mãe e filho. A mãe é composta por materiais reutilizados e cores naturais, enquanto o filho tem as cores sintéticas do plástico. Assim, Bordalo evoca "a ideia de que a próxima geração é ou será muito mais afetada pelos nossos erros do que nós."

 This is an original work by Bordalo II, from the Big Trash Animals series. It's called Half Bear and it is made up two bears, mother and cub. The mother with recycled materials and natural colours and her cub  in the synthetic colours of plastic. This way, Bordalo evokes the idea that "the next generation is, or will be, far more affected by our mistakes than ourselves."

You can see it in the Gulbenkian Garden, which surrounds all the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation buildings.
